Forge of empires forums arc8/28/2023 ![]() ![]() None of these suggested GBs are going to be ones to leave at low levels. You could begin those and begin equally leveling all of them. ![]() Marks or the Lighthouse yet? Both of those will help you in multiple ways. Myself, I didn't feel the need to run one gb up to ten before starting and leveling another one. You will want the Aachen also if you fight, but it could take a temporary back seat. Why? Monte will provide fps which you will need it's a little more effort to get the goods for it but it's payoff is better. I'm generally in agreement with ExtraMile, except that I would push the Monte before the Aachen. I would stop age advances if that's your only gb, and until you build your city a bit. Good luck!Ĭlick to expand.Zeus is a good one, and pretty easy to get early on. Many will save that spot for you because they like to help younger players get their Arcs started - it's good for you and good for the guild. I just want to repeat that to get Arc prints, check your guild for Arcs that are actively leveling, the higher the better, and pm the owner to see if you can have their 5th spot for 10 fps or so. Let us know what world your city's in, or describe what you've built already, and you'll be swamped with advice in no time. Building an Arc makes sense after all that is well under way. Iron is the age in which to lay foundations for a strong city, to build and get levels on a group of core GBs, and to ramp up your FP production, and of course to collect those Arc bps you will need. The Arc is great and quite possible to have in the Iron Age, but are you putting the cart before the horse? It takes a lot of space to build it, and it takes FP production to level it and use it. Click to expand.Welcome to the forums! You are in the main getting some good advice, although I would be very careful with anything from WinnerGR as the quality of his advice tends to be erratic (he is still quite new). ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() Hydrostatic forces on the upper and lower curved surfaces, therefore, have no net effect – no torque to affect the equilibrium of the assembly because the forces pass through the pivot. The hydrostatic force at any point on the curved surfaces is normal to the surface and resolves through the pivot point because it is located at the origin of the radii. In this experiment, when the quadrant is immersed by adding water to the tank, the hydrostatic force applied to the vertical surface of the quadrant can be determined by considering the following : The water level is indicated on a scale on the side of the quadrant. Water is admitted to the top of the tank by a flexible tube and may be drained through a cock in the side of the tank. ![]() The hydrostatic force and its line of action (center of pressure) can be determined for different water depths, with the quadrant’s vertical face either partially or fully submerged.Ī level indicator attached to the side of the tank shows when the balance arm is horizontal. Since the line of actions of hydrostatic forces applied on the curved surfaces passes through the pivot point, the forces have no effect on the moment. This moment can be counterbalanced by adding weight to the weight hanger, which is located at the left end of the balance arm, at a fixed distance from the pivot. ![]() The knife edges coincide with the center of the arc of the quadrant therefore, the only hydrostatic force acting on the vertical surface of the quadrant creates moment about the pivot point. The quadrant is mounted on a balance arm that pivots on knife edges. The water tank has a drain valve at one end and three adjustable screwed-in feet on its base for leveling the apparatus. The equipment is comprised of a rectangular transparent water tank, a fabricated quadrant, a balance arm, an adjustable counter-balance weight, and a water-level measuring device (Figure 1.1). ![]() ![]() ![]() What exactly do you mean by the phrase “real-time space strategy?”Ī. 4X DVD-ROM Drive (for retail disc version).128 MB DirectX 9 Compatible Video Card w/Pixel Shader 2.0 Support (AMD Radeon 9600 / Nvidia GeForce 6600 or Better). ![]() 512 MB RAM (1 GB for Windows 7 / Vista).Intel Pentium 4 1.8GHz Processor or Equivalent.Windows 10 / 8.1 / 7 / Vista SP2 / XP SP3.1 GB Video Card w/Pixel Shader 3.0 Support (Radeon X3000 Series / GeForce 8000* Series or Better)įor Sins of a Solar Empire: Trinity, the requirements are:.Intel Core i5 / i7 Processor or Equivalent.* Nvidia GeForce users must have driver version 296.10 or later.Broadband Internet Connection for Multiplayer.256 MB DirectX 9.0c Compatible Video Card w/Pixel Shader 3.0 Support (AMD Radeon X1650 / Nvidia* 6800 or Better).3 GHz Intel Pentium 4 Processor or Equivalent. The Iron Engine is quite flexible and is able to take advantage of both newer and older hardware.įor Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion, the requirements are: Not at all it’s a simple game to learn but can take a long time to truly “master.” Both the manual and the in-game Tutorials will help new players pick up the basics.Ī.
